Mindful & at peace

Do you ever take some time, stop and just be in the present moment. For me it’s something I do several times a day. It gives me a moment of rest, peace with myself, everything and everyone around me. I feel calm and energised and like nothing can do me any harm.
Even though I know how god it is for me, I don’t always remember to do it. But I’ve started to recognise when I lost it, the present moment. It’s when I feel unease and tense. When I tend to judge and compare. When I’m jealous. When I feel hopeless. When I’m not my true self.
It’s a god reminder to me to take a few deep breaths, some time to meditate, take a walk in the nature or whatever else brings me back to the present moment.
Mindfulness expands my heart and very being. It gets me back to my authentic self.
