Are you in a gap?

Have you experienced a distance to people around you? A feeling of not fitting in. Leaving you with a sense of awkwardness. Of unease. A gap between you and them.
But, is it really a gap between you and the others? I don’t think so. I don’t think it has anything to do with the people around you. It’s about you. The gap is inside of you. It happens when you lost the connection with yourself. You are no longer true to yourself. You are not authentic.
Pay attention to when this happens. When you find yourself in the gap: Take a breath. Connect to yourself. And experience the gap disappearing.
